One of the wonderful people who help us in Mirgori, Kenya found this little girl abandoned. Her name is Cynthia and she is six years old. She lost both her parents in 2008 due to AIDS. She had been living with her step-mother since she was a baby. Her step-mother, who also has AIDS, decided to move away and abandoned Cynthia. Neighbors brought her to the attention of our friend, Margaret, who is the community health educator. Margaret brought her to us and asked if we could take her in. Of course we said we would. We took her to the clinic and had her tested. Cynthia is also HIV positive. We have enrolled her in the AIDS program and started her on medication. $50.00 a month will enroll Cynthia in school; provide food and clothing and her required medication. Please consider sponsoring this sweet child and giving her the opportunity at a better life.
